Manitoba Cabin (Alaska Huts Association)

Situated at milepost 48 on the Seward Highway, this remote backcountry destination offers a unique way to immerse yourself in the Alaskan wilderness. The site features a central cabin alongside three distinct yurts, capable of hosting up to 25 travelers. Guests can enjoy essential comforts like propane for cooking, mattresses, and a kitchen, with firewood provided as long as stock remains. A wood-fired Finnish sauna is available for relaxation. Depending on the time of year, visitors can engage in world-class winter skiing or explore various hiking paths and non-motorized outdoor pursuits during the warmer months.
