Box Canyon Guard Station

Nestled within the Willamette National Forest at an elevation of 3,620 feet, this historic 1933 Civilian Conservation Corps cabin offers a true backcountry experience. Surrounded by a dense canopy of various fir and pine species, the site serves as a gateway to the Three Sisters Wilderness. Guests can rest in a furnished interior featuring a wood stove, twin beds, and a sofa bed. While an outhouse and horse corral are available, this destination requires self-sufficiency. Visitors must bring their own water, food, and bedding to enjoy the nearby alpine meadows, waterfalls, and diverse wildlife.
